The PowerSight® PS4000 Power Quality Analyzer provides comprehensive single and three-phase power measurements in a small yet powerful package. Its capabilities compare favorably with other instruments that are twice the price! The PS4000 is both a multifunction instrument capable of making all types of power measurements and a multifunction-ing instrument since all measurements are made simultaneously.
This is a power quality monitor and data logger that you can use on all types of power study, i.e. energy consumption studies, logging of voltage and current, harmonics measurements, as well as power quality analysis of swells, sags, inrush, and transients.
Plus, you get a multimeter-type LCD display of real time values for quick, spot measurements, along with PC software that has a powerful Report Writer to tabulate and document your results in a professional-looking document (see Example Report in Downloads/Application Notes).
Complete harmonic analysis of every cycle of all three voltages and all four currents, simultaneously, while doing all other functions.
Swell, sag, and inrush detection of every half cycle of all three voltages and all four currents, simultaneously, while doing all other functions.
Transient detection and wave capture on all three voltage inputs and all four current inputs, simultaneously, while doing all other functions.
Complete power/energy/cost analysis of single phase, two phase, three phase, and 3½ phase circuits while simultaneously doing harmonic, swell, sag, and transient analysis on all inputs.
Compatible with VSD outputs. Works on 22-200 Hz, 360-440 Hz and DC power.
Internal rechargeable battery with charge level indicator for 8-10 hours of hand-held use or power-fail operation. Includes wall charger.
All Measurements: 2,083 samples per cycle @ 60 Hz.
Transient detection: 8 usec sampling rate on all channels, simultaneously.
Harmonic analysis: analysis to the 63rd harmonic of every cycle of all channels, simultaneously.
Swell/sag detection: measurement of RMS voltage and current of each half cycle.
Accuracy: 0.1% +/- 2 LSDs from 1 volt to 600 volts.
0.1% +/- 2 LSDs plus accuracy of current probe.
Power Analysis: all relevant measurements of any power configuration (including DC).
Battery Operation: 6 - 8 hours, operates while charging off wall charger, includes battery charge indicator.
