See recordings of power, voltage, current, sags, swells, transients.
All PowerSight meters log voltage, current, and all power parameters. Log graphs of all values can be displayed on a PC with PowerSight Manager Software (PSM) - free with every PowerSight. PSM is also available for free download here. PSM allows you to zoom and expand graphs to see details. You can also export data to Excel with just one click. Graphs can be printed individually or pasted into Word documents. The Report Writer function automatically creates a final report, see an example here: Report.

Data Log of RMS Voltage from PowerSight
Log graphs of RMS values can be displayed on your PC with PowerSight Manager Software (PSM). Editing features allow you to annotate with labels to highlight events, peaks, or behavior. PS2500 & PS3500 meters are suitable for general V & I logging, load studies, panel and circuit capacity evaluations. The PS4500 Power Quality Analyzer measures RMS every half cycle, continuously, to capture sags and swells down to 8 ms. High and low excursions from nominal voltage can be seen easily in this graph.

View real-time waveforms, harmonics, phasors in scope mode
The oscilloscope features in all PowerSight meters allow you to view voltage and current waveforms in real-time. Refresh continuously to see activity, or freeze the display to inspect wave-shapes. Other real-time views display the harmonic spectrum for each phase, voltage or current, plus a phasor diagram. Available on all PowerSight models.

Phasors
View phasor diagrams with any PowerSight model. Check phase angles, see power factor and imbalance. The phasor diagram view is a great way to check your meter connections for incorrect phase rotation, CT polarity, and other errors. Observe in safety on a PC or PDA safely well away from high voltages using Bluetooth communications. Available on all PowerSight models.

View Real-Time Meters Locally / Remotely.
The meter window in every PowerSight meter displays real time values just like a multimeter for spot checks, and for ensuring you have good signal connections. Additionally, the Remote Control function in PSM software mimicks the meter's front panel on your PC or Netbook so you can operate and control Bluetooth enabled PowerSight meters remotely - from a safe distance, up to 25 feet away. Harmonic Spectra
PowerSight meters are capable of measuring harmonics to the 50th harmonic for the models: PS250, PS3000, PS2500 and PS3500. The PS4500 Power Quality Analyzer can measure up to the 63rd harmonic. (Note: For the PS250 and PS2500 Power Loggers the harmonics measurement is an option - option model # HAO) HAO You can toggle between a bar graph display, or a table of magnitudes and phase angles with K-Factor calculations.

Set triggers for power quality events, (sags, swells, transients), current inrush etc.
The PowerSight model PS4500 Power Quality Analyzer allows you to program voltage triggers to catch voltage sags and swells, and transients (impulses) to 8us. Set triggers in the current domain to capture current inrush events when large machines or motors start up. PS4500 Power Quality Analyzer only.

Power Quality: Voltage Sag or Dip event

Example of a voltage sag or dip captured by PowerSight PS4500 Power Quality Analyzer. Sags less than 10 cycles in duration are presented in a sinusoidal format. Sags longer than 10 cycles are presented in the RMS domain. This is an example of a voltage sag caused by a large load (such as a motor) turning on, running for a few seconds, then turning off. Out of Harms Way! PowerSight in SCAS2 Case

Bluetooth for Safety via PC or PDA
Be safer, be more comfortable! Get relief from wearing PPE. After installing probes move to safe distance and remove hoods or visors and thick-fingered gloves. Use a PC, netbook, or PDA and communicate wirelessly to a Powersight via Bluetooth, up to 25 feet away. Perform set-up, download data, check connections etc. away from high voltages.
